I have seen a lot of (presumably) nice stl models available on the Bay of Fleas (mainly from someone in Russia.
How good are these, do they carve out ok.
Looking for general information surrounding this topic possibly from folks that have used their services.

Re: Ebay .stl files info
A lot of those sellers are illegally selling copies of files they've purchased from legitimate sources (Design and Make etc) and/or sell models that are freely available (legitimately) from the many 3D file web sites.
I'm sure there are some genuine ones but unless you know the market well it can be hard to spot them.

Thank you Adrian for your advice.
I am a complete newbie all of this so therefore I was unaware of these practices. Design and Make is a great site and I'm happy to pay the extra for bonafide material. I was a bit skeptical in any case offering card details to far-flung vendors
