Cutting A Bowl in VCarve Desktop

Post by Garycarl »

Hi there,

Trying to figure out if i can cut out a bowl shape ( both front and back ) in VCarve Desktop.

Does anyone know how to do this by chance ? Have you been able to do it ? I am just trying to carve a simple spoon for my wife and cannot seem to understand how to cut the " convex ) or back of the spoon. I can get the spoon or concave part done, but cannot do the back. Looking to do a 45degree one not very deep.?????

Any help would be appreicated.

Gary

You can do it as a 2 sided project or as 2 seperate jobs the way 2 sided projects use to be done, dishes & dones are the same components but the dish uses a negative rather than a positive shape, have never made a spoon but made a few bowls & quite a few plates
