Circular Texturing

IN VCarvePro the texturing tool path allows one to alter the angle of the texture. Is there a way that newbie Me can create a "circular texture carve". Such a texture would still have all the settings as in the normal texturing path, but would follow a curve or circular path, much like lettering on a curve is done?

Any hints or pointers on how I can accomplish this would really be helpful.

Have you checked the help file for textured toolpath? I believe there is a way to use existing vectors as drivers for the texture.

I've done a sum total of two textured pieces so this is about the extent of my knowledge.
