Driving a Gerber Sabre?

New to the forum. Any thoughts regarding Vectric VCarve or Aspire compatiblity to run an older Gerber Sabre. I understand that the Gerber was originally designed to be operated with their proprietary software (Artpath / Autocarve). I noticed that Enroute lists Gerber as a supported machine, not sure about Vectric. Thanks!!

There are lots of threads on here about it. If you type Gerber into the search box at the top of the page you'll find them. It doesn't look like it's a very straightforward thing to do going by the couple of posts I read.
