Can someone tell me the job size limits with the respective Vectric software pkgs.?
I am currently running Desktop 9.5 which gives me a warning that the limits are 25" x 25"
I "assume" I need to upgrade to increase these limits. Just don't know if I need Desktop Pro or Aspire
TIA,
Ron

Re: Job size limits
Desktop versions (by definition) have size limits, the other versions do not

Re: Job size limits
There's not such thing as Desktop Pro.
What each version does and limits of the desktop versions of Cut2D and VCarve can be found here - https://www.vectric.com/products/compare.html

Re: Job size limits
Sorry I meant VCarve Pro
Interesting, I have three pages of comparison charts showing the different versions however, nowhere does it show “Cut larger than 25x25 as shown in your listing.
Thanks for the info guys,
Ron

Re: Job size limits
You're right Ron, it seems this limitation does not appear in the pdf. You can see it on the web page Adrian linked to.

Re: Job size limits
vcarve pro or aspire will both be OK for you, which of the 2 you decide to upgrade to is really down to what you would like to be able to do, the other good thing with Vectrics upgrade policy is that you only pay the difference between the 2 software versions.

Re: Job size limits
The Vectric upgrade policy is great. You don't pay a penalty for upgrading in increments. I upgraded from Vcarve Desktop to Pro for the same reason. I hit the 25"x25" limitation. Plus, I was able to use gadgets by upgrading to Pro. Now that I'm doing more 3D work, I upgraded to Aspire. Each time I upgraded I only paid the upgrade difference. Vectric knows how to keep their customers happy.....martin54 wrote:vcarve pro or aspire will both be OK for you, which of the 2 you decide to upgrade to is really down to what you would like to be able to do, the other good thing with Vectrics upgrade policy is that you only pay the difference between the 2 software versions.
