I recently switched from using a CarveWright CNC to a Shark. I have probably 200 carve files for the CarveWright that took me close to ten years to accumulate. Is there ANY way I can translate them into Shark-useable files?
Also, the CarveWright had the ablility to scan a 3D item so that it could be carved. I made such a scan of a Colt revolver. I'd like to be able to use that scan on my Shark. Can it be done?

Re: Translating files
Not easily. Projects cannot be exported to any format using the Carvewright Designer. If you have the "Pattern Editor" or "Sculptor" (add-ons to the main program) you can export the patterns that you own as an .stl or .obj. I have owned a Carvewright for about 10 years also and have created many amazing things with it but, to my knowledge, there is no other way to export anything.

Re: Translating files
I assume from your question what you mean is can Carvewright files be taken from their program and converted to be used with Vectric programs? As Steve noted, short answer seems to be No.
