He calls for a .125 1degree TBN router bit. Is this a misprint as I can't seem to locate one

Not a misprint. The actual bit I used on that project is the BDP002 - 1/8” Tapered Ball Nose from http://beckwithdecor.com/index_files/BDP_Tooling.htm
However, as Michael M mentioned, there are other sources for a similar bit. You can also use a straight 0.125" BN bit instead (provided it has enough cutting length, of course)
