Good morning,
I’ve just tried creating a 3D tool path of a model I created in other software, unfortunately I cannot show you the model as I’m now away from the computer without access, however, it was a simple shape, pretty much like a funnel you would use to pour liquid into a bottle (without the hole through the middle, irs just one solid component).
When I import this model into Vcarve Pro, everything looks great in the modelling tab. However, when I set my tool paths (roughing path first of all) it just deleted the whole model and carves the whole work area.
Is there something simple that I’m perhaps doing wrong?
Thanks!
Rhys

Make sure you have the correct Machining Limit Boundary set in the toolpath.
