Cutting letters joined font

Hi Guys
Was wondering if anyone had experience of creating the names quickly and easily for cutting name/placeholders as the attached picture. The material would be 3 - 4 mm MDF. I was hoping there may be a separate programme or similar to speed things up rather than having to mess around joining/trimming font overlaps.


As always any advice would be highly appreciated.

Convert to curves and use the weld tool. I do hundreds of those every year.
