3D object orientation

Post by JeffWimer »

I recently purchased some 3D objects off of CGtraders. The only file type I could open was the obj file. Unfortunately the object itself was built along the z axis. How can I change them to lie on the x and y axis?

Just use the Orient 3D Model tools during the import process. You can orient the model however you like.

As part of the import process you change that using the controls at the top of the form.
