Re: How do I cut out this profile
I think I figured it out...Used the sissors
Strange I did try them before, but it did not work for me.
Mabe because I had the smart snapping turned off, and maybey there was a small open vector...I dont know
Remember Im still a apprentice

Re: How do I cut out this profile
Draw both shapes with the handle overlapping the circle. Use the scissors tool (trim) and then the join tool if necessary. Then create the toolpath as one shape.

Take note that grouped vectors cannot be cut using scissors. I have come across this several times too --- not being able to use the scissors tool and found that I was trying to clip/cut grouped vectors.
Another thing I have found too after zooming in I found that certain vectors did not intersect each other --- they must intersect or the scissors tool will not work either.
Just wanted to get in here and mention that --- Just a thought, LOL!

Re: How do I cut out this profile
If the shapes overlap slightly, you can just use the Weld feature instead of trimming with the Trim (Scissors) Tool.

Yes Indeed, Michael!!!If the shapes overlap slightly, you can just use the Weld feature instead of trimming with the Trim (Scissors) Tool.
That one slipped my mind, Thank You for bringing that up! So many Tools and possibilities hard to remember them all. Of course the memory at 63 is not as sharp as it was as in my earlier years too!

Re: How do I cut out this profile
I managed to get my ping pong paddles cut.
That was tricky getting rid of that little line lol
I just got on here, so I missed the weld tool.
I had to Zoom way in there to get everything grouped, The sisors worked for me yesterday, but not today
I know it was somthing I was doing wrong, but with a little clicken here and there, the line took off
anyway...it was fun...Thanks for the help guys
