Problem Importing and tracing pdf from Adobe

I'm having a hard time importing a pdf file over to my V Carve Pro software. The image I get is super high res but when i ship it over to VCarve it gets choppy on the curves. I've converted them to Jpeg, Png, Tif. I've tried it all different way. I've never had such a hard time tracing these things? Any Ideas

As you're creating the new file, hold shift at the same time. In the Modeling Resolution you will add Extremely High and Maximum Resolution. Depending on your computer, change the resolution to one them. If that don't work, read my comment: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31029&p=224224&hilit=trace#p224224

Don't convert. Just click and drag the PDF file onto the VCarve screen. I did that and it opened just fine.
Or you can click and drag the PDF icon over onto the VCarve icon and VCarve will open with the image.

Use "Import Vectors", not "Import Bitmap". That's a vector PDF, not raster.

As ger21 says it is already vectors so just import as vector, absolutely no tracing required
Some file types support both vector & bitmap data & PDF is one of them
