Help with this picture

My wife found this picture on Pinterest and wants me to make her one.
Could any one help on how I can get this in a vectors so I can cut it out. I would leave the center blank, she does not want a letter in the center.

Imported in has a bitmap and use the trace bitmap. If it's a low resolution picture, the trace may not come out well so do some node editing my hitting "N". Sometimes it easy to edit on side and cutoff the other side, then mirror (Under transform Objects).

For the best results I wouldn't use the trace bitmap as it's such a simple shape (plus it's a poor image) and you only need one side of it. Import the bitmap and use the drawing tools on top of it.

+1 for what Adrian has suggested, if you want to be able to use the software properly then you really should learn how to use the drawing tools. This would be a good project to start, with it being an organic shape then it only needs to be roughly the same. No pressure to get every curve exactly the same as the image you are tracing, as long as it looks much the same when you have finished all will be good.
The more you pracice with the drawing tools the quicker you will get

Another option would be to do a google search for a basic silhouette of the same shape. You can even do a search for a vector image silhouette, I bet you should find some fairly easily.

I just did and a large number of silhouette images came up.

The forum is great with lots of very helpful people, it was very good of Paul to do it & upload the file BUT that won't help you to learn how to use the software yourself

I agree... it can be intimidating and maybe even a bit frustrating at times but there is nothing like working out something with the tools for yourself!. There will be projects where you are just going to have to know how to edit something and the only way to understand what you need to do is get in there and attack some images using the drawing tools.
