Newbie question, can I create my own clipart? Using either 3d models created in other software or simply grayscale bitmaps representing Z heights as cliparts are shown in the 2d view?
I'm guessing it should be an easy way to do this, but I can't find the option to create my own clipart.
Using VCarve 9.5
Thanks!

Re: Create my own clipart
You need Aspire to create 3D clipart from scratch or from grayscale bitmaps.
You can import 3D clipart in various different formats into VCarve but unless you're using the proprietary formats then you can only import one model at a time.
Have a look at the tutorials. It's all covered in there.

Re: Create my own clipart
If your goal is to create your own 3D models then upgrading to Aspire would be beneficial to you, good thing is that you only pay the difference in price between the 2 programs when you upgrade
You can always download the trial version & try it for yourself to see if it is what you are looking for
