How to make lenticular carvings?

Hey all, this question actually prompted me to get an account on this site to figure out. How do I go about carving a lenticular design similar to the one seen here:

I'm posting here because this was taken at a Vectric meetup that I unfortunately wasn't able to make. I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. Thanks!

That was done with new features for lasers. The module that does that hasn't been released yet as far as I'm aware. I bought a laser after the UK meeting and I'm looking forward to Christmas when I'll finally get time to connect it all up.

It should be out soon, but I can't give a definitive date. The laser module is feature-complete but is currently being tested.

It will have a picture toolpath strategy to laser images. Edward (who created this demo) stitched up the two images to be stripped vertically in an external image editor, then projected the laser toolpath on a v-bit raster-profiled model.
