Post by medic7392 »

Is there a way to set up on v carve pro so I can carve the same item multiple times on the same sheet of wood?

Yes. Just copy/paste then position the copy (or copies) or drag the model while holding the Cntrl key down to make a new copy.

In addition to the previous suggestions (personally I use nesting with automatic toolpaths) you can also use the Array Copy Toolpath.

Also, depending on your control software, you can do it at the machine level where you offset to a new location, which is treated as the new home position, and run the job again.

I have this, I can set a temporary origin, or home position, and call another program from within the g-code running on my machine. This is in the machine software. This is a great feature IMHO, it allows me to quickly change order batching for clients.
