Hello!
Situation example: a contour cut in 2 passes with a separate last pass of 0.1 mm.
I selected top middle for start point with the "move start point to be closest" funtion on the "start at" tab.
Result: the start points are still on the first spot, where the green dot is in node editing mode.
Now for the fun bit: when I deselect " separate last pass" the start point moves to the top where i want it. When I activate it moves back to its original location again.
I use the " start at" and "separate last pass" function quite a lot so this is quite annoying. Ofcourse you can use the node editing mode and "P" to do it manually but it is a quite a bit more work on big nesting projects.
I have tested this on my work computer and on my home laptop, both the same result.
Am I missing something or can you guys reproduce this problem?
Is this a bug or my fault?

Re: Is this a bug or my fault?
Yep, I'm seeing that too. I can't think of a reason why it would need to do that so I'd say it's a bug.
I use the Start At a lot but I never use the separate last pass feature as I prefer to create a separate finishing toolpath and then use the merge toolpaths to create one toolpath out of the two. I do it that way because you can't have different feed rates/rpm's/ramps with the last pass feature. With large jobs I find that more efficient as the "last pass" toolpath can be run at higher feed rates.

Hello Adrian!
Thanks for your fast reply.
I understand your workflow. I did not work yet with the combine toolpaths function but I will invest some time in it
I will send this bug to Vectric, maybe the can fix it on the next update.
Have a nice day.

Hello Jacala,
The latest patch (9.510) should hopefully address your issue.
I hope that this helps.
