Hi all,
I am new to this cnc stuff and have a question about the way files are saved. the first things I drew and saved were saved as cnc files, now since I updated to v9.5 files are being saved as mmg and my cnc wont run them. the question, is there a way to change the way files are saved? I would appreciate any help.
thanks

Re: changing from mmg to cnc files
Make sure you're still using the same post processor you were before (the drop down list when you save the toolpaths) as that is what determines the format and name of the file.

thanks Adrian,
I looked at that and it is the only post processor for my machine listed and I dont remember if it is the same as the one I loaded when i got the machine. I will have to check their forum

Here's a link to the Axiom webpage for the Elite series and the post processor files you'll need - https://www.axiomprecision.com/post. Let us know if this helps.

Re: changing from mmg to cnc files
Go into your VCarve program under Toolpaths and select Install PostProcessor. Use the file for the Axiom Elite. It installed it in my program and shows as Axiom Elite NTC (mm)(*.CNC). It's just above the Axiom HHC pp.
