VcarvePro 8.5
I have always been changing the vector image size by double clicking on the image then grabbing one of the corner square boxes and moving up or down to either increase or decrease the image size. This is always very inaccurate when trying to make small adjustments.
Is there a way to increase or decrease the size incrementally, with the number pad?
I have been using VCP for years and I’m sure there are lots of tips I need.
Thanks
HH

Still need the mouse, but there are a few ways to ACCURATELY do things in Vectric.
Node editing - You can select a single node, right click, click properties. A dialog box will open and you can enter exact X-Y coorninates of the node.
Move - you can select objects and use the move tool - it opens a dialog box
Scale - you can set scale in either "X" - "Y" axis to the dimension you want.
You can create guidelines
Offset can help
Just a few that I can think of.

Hi HH,
There is a Tutorial Video you may find very helpful and informative. It's about 20 minutes in length and teaches how-to-draw vectors and objects, resizing drawn objects, snapping tools, shortcuts for drawing accurate vectors and shapes, etc. Watching the video can save you hours of figuring out things on your own. Here is the link:

Hot keys for move type M. This will bring up the move command window. TAB will cycle through the command boxes for x and y. Saves moving the mouse off the drawing area. Scaling hot key is T for transform. Again, you can tab through the variable boxes.
