I am trying to create a vector that will allow a 1/4 bit to do a profile cutout.
There is a place where the vector meets a curve meets a square. This intersection
needs to have a small curve so the bit will fit. Poor explanation but I have some
screen shots.I need the area with the highlight circles to make a smooth transition
for the 1/4 bit to follow.

Re: Help Please
Select the vector
Offset OUTWARD by 1/2 the bit diameter
Offset INWARD by the full bit diameter
Offset OUTWARD by 1/2 the bit diameter
Offset OUTWARD by 1/2 the bit diameter
Offset INWARD by the full bit diameter
Offset OUTWARD by 1/2 the bit diameter

Re: Help Please
Or just use the fillet tool. I would enter the radius as slightly larger than 0.125”. Maybe 0.126”
More likely, I wouldn’t bother at all about putting in a rounded corner. The bit will cut the outer Profile just fine without one.

I agree with Michael about the bit making the radius. If you want a 1/4" radius and use a 1/4" bit, it will cut the radius without doing anything, since the bit can't cut an inside corner.
Before cutting the font, I would check for spelling, capitalization, spacing, and punctuation. I found several errors, and on a beautiful and sentimental plaque, such as this one, it should be no less than great.
