4th axis indexing post

Post by PATRICKCUES »

I posted this a while back and no one had a answer.
I thought I would get again

I have a Laguna IQ. I have the 4th axis with it also
Does anyone know where I can get a indexing post for the 4th axis for this???
Also the wrapping job doesnt work for what I need .
I looking to cut a pocket and auto rotate for example 30 degrees and cut another pocket .
Thank you.

Doug...
It sounds like you have a wrapped postP for your machine, is this true?

If that is the case, then you have everything that is available. I believe that you need to cut inlay females without rotation on a cue blank but have no way to rotate the blank for multiple cuts. This is normally not too difficult, but is made more difficult when using a pendant controller that has no ability to take keyboard input. You will have to learn to manually edit Gcode files or have a set of premade files that you can load and run, each with a different amount of rotation.

Let me know if I understand what you are trying to do.
