hi all does any one no how to convert a isd file to stl for machining or printing???

With all the views and no reply's the question is

What is an ISD file. What software did it come from? Where did you get it? What created it?

Autodesk point cloud format from what I can see. Converting to another point cloud format would probably be better than STL.

Have you tried this gadget as it imports many different point cloud formats - http://gadgets.vectric.com/V9/regular_g ... orter.html

If an ISD file doesn't work then you could export as DEM if you have the software or find a converter to do that.

hi leo
found this on the internet (mimix 3d profile scanner) its free it uses your web cam and computer monitor to make a 3d scan of your face and it worked good enough to machine on cnc machine but cant get it to open in vectric to have a go??
try it out see what you think
