Sign making
Sign making
Very new to the CNC world and VCarve pro. I have made a few signs with satisfactory results that were not surfaced or carved inside. Now when I make a sign, the program carves inside. Any hints what I may be doing wrong? Thanks Mike

Re: Sign making
Top of my head without more details I would say you're doing a profile cut and it's cutting on the inside rather than outside. Most likely cause of that is the vector is open in which case inside/outside depends on which end of the vector the start node is on.
Total guesswork without some more detailed information though.

It might be you have your boarder highlight with your text. I'm kinda new also so don't listen to me over some other advanced people. I just went thru the same thing though. If I'm hearing you right and that was my problem.
