HI
I import this shape made by ketchup
i grouped it and when i try to calculate tool i receive this error message
also when try to join vectors some of the inside shapes looks solid line and the the other show dotted line.
how to go over this problem

Hi,

Did you already follow the instruction to join the open vectors as given in the warning box? (Ungroup the vectors before attempting to join them)

thank you for your reply
I have tried to do as you said but for some reason did not work ( join button was gray) , so here what I did:
R click on the shape, ungroup object, ungroup back onto original object layer
and click on join vectors ( now the Join button is active)

Good job! Glad you got it sorted. (Yes, vectors cannot be joined if they are grouped. Ungrouping is the key, which you discovered.)
