Rastering

Post by GervRich »

Hello All,

I was looking for some insight on how to use the Next Wave Automation Raster 3.0. I open the program and load the image. How do I save it and then upload it to vcarve pro so i can use a laser to try and laser the image.

I tried saving it and then opening it as a bitmap but it does not show up in the saved area. What I need to do is be able to save it as a laser file.

Thanks

Opening or importing ? If you are working within Vcarve then you would be best using the import bitmap function

That program creates code that is meant to be loaded and cut directly on your machine not loaded into VCarve as far as I can see.

If it does have an option to save the file as a bitmap rather than just a TAP file then you would need to import the bitmap as Martin says.

Thanks for the response. It only saves it as a Tap file. I will try what you guys say and load it right to the machine. Thanks again
