Printing job sheet

Postby zaxis » Sat Jul 07, 2018 8:36 pm

I have posted with this issue before. The issue was resolved. The graphics do not print unless you use internet explorer. New computer now..... I am using Internet Explorer but the graphics still do not print. Has something changed with IE to make it not work anymore?

Be sure your browser Print Settngs include printing the Background Graphics (put a checkmark in the box next to that option)

Zaxis, are you sure you're using Internet Explorer and not Edge (the default browser in Windows 10)?

There is no background print option in Edge so you have to open using IE or another browser and check the print background option as Michael says. In Internet Explorer it's in the Page Setup option which you can get to by pressing Alt-F and then choosing Page Setup from the menu.

Are you able to open the html file in your browser? If so, you can try right clicking to get a dialog box which includes "Print." If so, click on that and it should then open your print selection box. Sorry, I may not be using the exact terminology that some computer folks use. I did a quick test and it works fine for me. Hope this helps.

In Chrome the option is under More settings when the print dialog is open. In IE (as discussed) it's on the Page Setup which you get to by pressing Alt-F to bring up the file menu. FireFox is the same as IE.

For Edge there is currently no way to print background images that I know of other than using the "Open in Internet Explorer" option.

Thanks for the help everyone. It all works fine now. I had it all working on my other computer. I had a brain freeze when I was transferring and setting up my new machine :?
