Basic Text Set-up

Let me start by saying I have watched the tutorials to see if I could find the answer to this to no avail. Somehow, somewhere I have changed the default setting for displaying text in the "Draw Text" option of VC Desktop v9.015. When I enter any text, it automatically displays it down the Y axis as in this example:

Needless to say this is driving me NUTS! I know it has to be some simple obscure setting, but I'm stumped in finding it. Anyone out there have any idea what I need to do?

All fonts that begin with a "@" are oriented vertically.
