can not open file Error Code 3

Hi,
My Vcarve pro is updated to the latest V 9.015
after downloading file from paid website, the file is EPS type, when drag and drop or using the open option it return the following message ( Failed to open EPS/AI/PDF File error code 3)
i restarted the program and made sure it is the latest version but still getting this error.
Please help.

Error code 3 can be a corrupted file. Can you open it in any other program? Have you tried downloading it again?

Any time I get a file from a student that causes an error code the reason is that they pulled their USB thumb drives from their PC before a program using the drive was done with it. Always close any programs using the thumb drive then properly/safely eject it.

I kind figured it out
after downloading the zip file, execute it at the same folder, zen I have to make a copy of it and paste it at a fresh folder at a deferent location and zen I drag it to the VCpro screen.

If you are downloading zipped files then they need to be unzipped before you can use them. All you need to do once downloaded is to click once on the file (so it turns blue) hover the mouse over it & use the right click menu, select extract all. The pop up window will give you options where to save. Once the file has been unzipped the new folder will contain your useable EPS file
