defining a 1/4" 5/32-Ogee Bit

Post by boblavoie »

Hello everyone,
I've only had my CNC for a few weeks and I want to use a 5/32 Ogee bit around an edge of a project. It's on older Craftsman bit and I can't find any specs on it. How would I go about entering it into the Tool Database in VCarve Pro? I've also seen other people on-line use a vector for the tool, but have now idea where and how to got that to use it for the Tool List. Hope someone can give me some incite.
Thanks
Bob

Just to add to Pete's link to tutorial, can't remember if it is mentioned in the tutorial but you don't want to be using router bits with a bearing on a cnc machine
