Importing my own pictures

Alright I have V Carve Pro 9.015, I already have a picture and I am wanting to carve it out how or can I get it in VCarve9 and work with it

Import it as a bit map. This is a basic feature covered in the tutorials, you should watch them

Importing is simple enough it is getting workable vectors that can take considerable time. The auto trace functions on most tracing software fall short of producing good clean vectors for carving or engraving usually and I find that manual tracing and/or node editing is most always needed to have a good clean image to engrave. Time consuming but sometimes it is the only solution at least in my experience.

Please post your picture here so we can see exactly what you're talking about. So far, the assumption is being made that you want to 2D carve a logo or something like that. Showing us your picture will help us help you.

Yes Michael is correct in that I normally think of tracing in relation to 2D work. Please give us a bit more to go by and maybe you will get replies more specific to what you want to do with the imported picture.
