Rectangles consisting of little segments

Post by hack613 »

This is another inkscape gotcha I think....

So if I bring the file over from inkscape to vectric some rectangles are a mess.

The ones I just drew in inkscape are okay, but if I've rotated them then I cannot cut them.

Each of the four segments of the rectangle will be made up of a bunch of little rectangles that form the line. It's just a rectangle of rectangles.

Anybody get this?

What type of file are you bringing in? I've never heard of that with native SVG Inkscape or other vector files but it's a common issue when bitmap tracing heavily compressed images.

It doesn't see to matter what file format I use so it's not in the conversion it must be something in inkscape.

I tried bringing the svg directly, pdf etc....

Here's a picture of what it looks like. In this shot you can see a circle that has the same effect (being consisted of little rectangles).

Guessing it's something to do with stroke/line weight looking at that.
