Move tool data base

I want to move my tool data base from my cut2d program to my new vcarve pro.program.
Is that as simple as using exporting from cut2d and then importing into vcarve pro
In the two programs.

I also found this
Tool Database guide general topics files. Do I need to install this?

There are a few ways to do it but the one with the fewest likely problems is as you suggest by importing and exporting directly from the tool database. Be aware that the import happens at whatever level of the data base tree you have currently selected so make sure you have the top level selected first.
