Move Distance Using Arrow Keys

Is there a way to change how far something moves each time you press an arrow key? I could swear I had seen this somewhere before but now I can't find it. Or did I dream it?

The closer I zoom in with the scroll wheel, the finer the movements...joe

Press F4 to bring up the snapping options and set the Fixed Nudge Distance to what you would like. You can then press Ctrl-Shift-Arrow to move by that amount.

Also you can use the Ctrl key with an arrow to reduce the nudge by zoom level distance and Shift with arrow to increase it.
