Dust Boot
I have a Shark HD4 extended bed and am using a water-cooled spindle with a dust boot. I've noticed that when the spindle changes direction, the dust boot fingers cause the front end of the spindle mount to raise slightly, which leaves unwanted material. I have to run a cleanup pass without the boot every time I do a pocket cut. Is this normal for the Shark HD4?

Re: Dust Boot
This can happen on any machine that lacks rigidity.
The brush on your dust shoe is more rigid than your machine is. Think about that for a minute....
