Piranha Metal Engraving

Anyone ever tried to do any engraving or cutting of metals with their Piranha machine? Just wondering before I either make good things happen or have a disaster.

Would think that you would have to be very conservative with your settings if you were to try this, not the most rigid of machines
Engraving you will probably be able to manage on soft metals, I would try both rotary & drag engraving if it were me, don't know about your side of the pond but over here you can pick up small pieces of material for experimenting pretty cheaply

As Martin wrote, you can engrave without risk with a diamond pressure bit even on hard materials.

With this kind of machine, you may be able to machine soft metals with very conservative settings. Personally, I'd avoid that.
