Hi,

We still have a small amount of places, but they are selling quickly. I would suggest booking today if possible to avoid disappointment.

Thanks
Stephanie

Hi Warren,

Unfortunately we won't be releasing any of the guest speakers presentations, however we will release some of the Vectric training content via V&CO over the twelve months following the User Group Meeting.

Thanks
Stephanie

I'm really looking forward to meeting my Vectric forum friends in Chicago! Question - is it customary to bring a laptop computer to these events so we can follow along with the instructor?

I usually do. It also helps me with note taking.

I saw quite a few laptops last year. Not sure if you could follow along, though. They move at a pretty quick pace. :D

Hi All,

You are more than welcome to bring laptops, however please bear in mind we aren't able to offer power outlets for laptop chargers during the meeting.

We will provide you with a USB stick containing all of the project files and pre recorded video's of all of the Vectric presentations in your attendee packs. We wouldn't advise trying to follow along with the training as you won't have all of the files to hand and the presentations are generally fast paced. Attendees benefit most from listening and taking in the content during the meeting and having a go at the projects using the techniques shown following the meeting at their own pace.

I hope that helps :D

I always bring a laptop, sometime two. It's hard to bring much show and tell on an airplane so I use the screen saver so folks can see many projects.

I’ve always enjoyed your “slideshow” of projects!

I am signed up for the Chicago seminar and am wondering when I will receive my info packet. I also have reserved a room at the hotel and have not heard back from them.
I would guess I should just give the hotel a call to confirm my reservation.

Normally you receive your packet when you enter the seminar room the first day. Dale

Hey Steve, you will receive your UGM info and goodies at the beginning of the event as you register on the first morning. Regards your hotel reservation, I would give them a call to confirm this if you have not yet heard anything back from them.

It's only a month away now and we are all preparing our talks and presentations at Vectric HQ, and we are very much looking forward to meeting/seeing you all!

Thanks,
Vectric Team.
