I followed a tutorial on how to create a 3D bowl Wedding project. I created the project and then exported to X-Carve (inch)(*.gcode) as I think I am suppose to. I then pulled the files into UGS Ver 1.0.9. It allowed me to load 4 of the 5 gcode files I created. The first is too bug by a few K. The depth of the cuts is no where close to what was expected. Even the cutout with 4 tabs was at least 1/4 inch too shallow. The second file which is the one inch text with a 90 degree v-bit looks like a 5th grader wrote it. And guidance is greatly appreciated. The intended recipients of the gift was/is my son and daughter who's anniversary was yesterday.
I was cutting a piece of .75" thick Maple.

I do not have time to download and look at files, but Rule #1 with CNC Never ever make your first project to try anything on good material. It takes time and skill to get things right, does not come overnight.
