Inverting a dish creates jagged edge

Post by Cut it out »

When I flip over or invert a 3D dish it results in a jagged edge within the model which the finishing tool follows and of course, leaves a jagged edge. Anyone know why the version 8.5 V-Carve does this and is there a remedy or work around to cover it up? Thanks for any help.

add a zero plane and see if that helps.

You need to add a zero plane if you are creating any type of recessed 3D model, it allows the software to define the edge of the model
