Help with a basic bow tie

I have a large crack in a board, and would like to use a few bow ties to hold it together.

I need the cut out to be 3" long
And the width 1-1/2"
.340 deep
1/4" endmill

The part I couldn't do is rounding off the corners , instead of sharps

I will then need a pocket with the same matching corners to match a 1/4" endmill

Any help is appreciated
Even a file with any size close to this will help a lot

Lots of different ways. You can use the Fillet tool to round the corners, the offset tool or use the inlay toolpath which will make matching pockets and pieces to fit.

I see the fillet tool that's what I was looking for.

But now you got me thinking about that inlay tool path
I haven't used that one yet
Would this be the best choice in your opinion?

Either way will work fine, which ever way you decide to do it cut the male inset first, that way you can test fit it in the female pockets while the part is still on the machine & if you have to make any adjustments to the pocket it is easily done

Somthing along the lines depicted in the attached jpg? Created using the object in the attached dxf. As suggested by Martin54, first I made the male part (profile toolpath). several in fact. then the female pocket (using the same bit) - and test while leaving that part on the machine, starting on the small (depending on the behaviour of your machine) - and adjust if necessary.
