Hi ,
I am a novice and would like to know if you have to remove say 5mm of timber from a pocket but , you didnt want to do the 5mm in one go, what is the way to say remove 1mm , 5 times. Or do I just have 5 tool paths with 1 mm in each.

The amount of material removed in each pass is controlled by the pass depth of the tool although it can be overridden in the tool path itself if you have "Show advanced toolpath options" checked.
If the pass depth of the tool in the database is 1mm then, by default, the pocket toolpath will generate five passes to cut a 5mm pocket.
