Recently purchased an Omnitech Spectra 510 with the Syntec controller and am upgrading from Cabnetware to Cabnetvision.
I was told by my Cabnetvision rep to create and run a simple program (cut a square, circle, drill two holes) that the machine could perform without errors and then send it to Cabnetvision and they will create a post for my machine.
Only problem is I can't get the program (or any program) to run without errors. I tried running the Wing_Rib file but received a compiler error.
I'm not sure if I am using the correct post in Vcarve, I have "Omnitech Inc Arcs (inch)(*.tap)" selected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to learn Vcarve, CabnetVision, and AutoCAD 2018 at the same time

Re: Having problems running program on CNC
I'm not familiar with those machines but it's the controller software itself that is the important part when choosing the post processor. If it's running Syntec software then you should try a Syntec Post Processor.
