Changing size of shapes

Post by Steve Misher »

Is there a way to change the size of multiple shapes at the same time?
Example: 4 circles at .5" and change them all at the same time to 1"
I can only seem to change one at a time.

The Size tool will accept a percentage value so if you select all the circles and set the percentage to 200% they will all go from 0.5" to 1". You can't do that using the actual size value boxes as then the selection is increased in size as one unit.

There is also a gadget for resizing circles if you're not running a desktop version of the software - http://gadgets.vectric.com/V9/circle_resize.html

Don't forget that circles were only used as an example. Offsetting will work with some shapes but not others when using it to resize. The resize tool with a percentage will when resizing multiple items at one time.
