update 9.010

vcarve pro 9.010 just jacked up my system. did the update, patch failed to install and now it will not even open...

You can download the full installer from your Portal.

Not quite sure why you have had a problem & lots of other people haven't As ger21 says you can download the latest version from your customer portal or you can download the patch to your machine from the update page, I have just used the update page without any problems, reason I have done it that way is because my machine computer doesn't have an internet connection.

If you have the software open when you try to install the patch you will normally get a message saying the software needs to be closed before the patch can be installed. Closing the program & then going ahead & installing the patch normally works OK

ended up having to uninstall Vcarve pro 9 and then go to site to download 9.010
all working fine now.
not sure what happened but it removed 9 exe file when I tried to update the first time then locked up and would not allow me to open 9.

like I said, all is good now.

but remarking that you are not sure what I did is no help at all, nor is telling me where I can download, all I did was report a problem.

Had the same issue on windows 10 computer but not on windows 7, still have to fix 10 computer, figered I would have to uninstall first thanks for the conformation.
