Ok guys/gals, I am at my wits end...
I have been using a tapered ballnose bit with a 1/16" tip, 1/4" shaft, and I have tried everything in the book to get it set up using Triquetra and each time the tip is not in contect or even near the corner of my work piece.
It is too long to use the side of the shank (1/4") and if I use any other part it zeros anywhere between 1/8 and 3/16 from the corner.
so can anyone tell me how I can go about getting this bit to be at the corner using the triquetra?
thanks in advance.

Re: Tapered Ball nose Bit setup
The only way is to not use a tapered bit with the touch plate. Use another plain 1/4" mill, and set it up like normal. Then replace it in the chuck with the 1/4" tapered bit. This is now centered the same as the 1/4" bit was. Now set the Z-only with the touch plate. The bit is now zeroed X, Y, and Z.
