I have been working with the molding toolpath and created a picture frame. Would like to put text on it and have it follow the contour. Tried the check box "project toolpath onto 3d model." It did not work. I am using VCarve Pro version 9 on shark hd extended
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for any help

Re: TEXT ON MOLDING TOOLPATH
Unfortunately the moulding tool path does not make a 3D model. In Aspire there is an option to turn the result of toolpaths into a solid model but I don't believe that feature is included in Vcarve Pro.
One of the differences in features between the two.
I've also downloaded your file and done what I suggested. Your text as is will carve when projected to the profile you drew up, but is considerably distorted wrapping over the curve.
I suggest changing the profile to have a flat area where you want to carve the text. Then you won't need to project to a 3D model. Just set the start depth to wherever the flat ends up being below the surface of your wood block.
