Total newbie Help!

Post by davidclosson2 »

Where does Vcarve place files you save? Also, where do the tutorial files get saved? I cannot find them. Is there no way to set where vcarve saves files. Any help appreciated

If you are referring to VCP9 I believe the tutorials will be save in the same spot as the Aspire tutorials, only replace Aspire with VCarve or something like that.
"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vectric Files\Tutorial Files\Aspire V9.0\Index.html"

Sorry I don't have VCP9

VCP will save your job files where ever you tell it to. When you click Save on a new job, VCP will ask you where you want to save the job.

If you need to find an existing job that you can't find, try using Windows Explore Search function, just enter *.crv. I believe the files will be somewhere under you Documents folder.

Where does Vcarve place files you save?
Select "Save as" rather than just "Save" then you can put the file into a folder just for that project. Right click, then new, then folder. After that, "Save" will put it in that folder. Repeat for each new project.
