today I tried to start Vcarvepro 8.5 and received this error message.

What did Vectric Support tell you when you checked with them? (or maybe their offices were closed when this happened)

I assume you already rebooted your computer and tried again, yes?

I got this error a few years back. I did a Google search on the error message and was able to fix it, but it was so long ago I don't remember the solution.

I did contact support. They made a number of suggestions. I think I will look for some answers on the web first.

Rebooted windows a number of times. Also complete shutdown . Ran a registry fix and malware programs'

Fixitmike I will look at that video.

I may reinstall Vcarve.

Thank you Mike that fixed it. It was for an older version of windows but was easy to figure out.
