Re: error
What did Vectric Support tell you when you checked with them? (or maybe their offices were closed when this happened)Makingtoothpicks wrote:today I tried to start Vcarvepro 8.5 and received this error message.
I assume you already rebooted your computer and tried again, yes?
Here's a video you may find helpful:
(There is a lot of very mixed info on this error - everything from corrupt files, to wrong permission settings, to virus or anti-virus or firewall interference, and more.)

Re: error
I got this error a few years back. I did a Google search on the error message and was able to fix it, but it was so long ago I don't remember the solution.

Re: error
I did contact support. They made a number of suggestions. I think I will look for some answers on the web first.
Rebooted windows a number of times. Also complete shutdown . Ran a registry fix and malware programs'
Fixitmike I will look at that video.
I may reinstall Vcarve.

What fixed it? The suggestions in the video or a re-install?
