Free vcarvepro/aspire camp in Terre Haute Indiana

Post by rej »

This coming August 5th and 6th I will be hosting a free camp on vcarvepro and aspire.
I have hosted several of these in the past and i now have a nice showroom in Terre Haute Indiana.
We will be going over not only vcarve pro/ aspire, but also how I apply it to sign making and some cabinet parts.
This would be a great time for new people to learn and long time users who just want to hang out and mingle with other vectric people.
We will be using a 4x8 manual tool changer and also a 5x10 auto tool changer, both with vacuum hold down.
I will also have the Hurricane vacuum here for folks who want to see a nice single phase vacuum.
I will have a few instructors here who are very good with vcarve and aspire as well as cut 3d and cut 2d.

I only have room for 25 people.

So if you can come, send me an email.

very few have responded to this camp, only 3.
maybe there are several camps now so most people have been to one.
if I cannot get 6 or 7 more this week, I'm going to call it off.
thanks

This is interesting. More details? I work at a MakerSpace. We have a Shopbot and use VCarve. I'm still learning it.

I just to give a huge shout out to Robert for hosting the VCP\Aspire camp in Terre Haute Indiana.
I had a wonderful time met some wonderful people and made some great contacts.
We had a mix of talent in the group and the classes were easy going with no pressure.
As much information was covered as possible starting from the bottom and going through as much as possible in the time allocated.
Robert also had everyone write down questions they had in the first day. The second day he had committed to not leaving until everyones questions were answered.

For everything I garnered out of the weekend pretty hard to believe it was all free.
Cheers to Robert for hosting this event and giving back to the community of like minded CNC'ers.

I for one would gladly attend another one of these camps and hope to be able to do so moving ahead in my craft.

Double bonus got to see some really nice CNC's that Robert represents. Roctech's are definitely some very rigid sturdy built machines that will not kill the bank.

Thanks again for a great camp Robert.
