Moving lines of text

Post by FredS »

I'm a newbie, green as a gourd, but anxious to learn. Having no computer skills doesn't help. Specifically, I have a 16" X 8" rectangle with two lines of Copperplate Gothic lettering. I want to isolate both lines, move the top one up and the lower line down. I don't seem to be able to isolate one line from the other. I also want to curve the upper line, but I'll be happy to just move it first! Can anyone help?

Put them in as 2 separate lines of text.
The for the line of text you want on a curve use the text on curve icon.

You can select the text block and then right click on it to show a menu with the options. In about the middle of the menu is the option to break text block into lines. If you click on that then each line can then be curved or moved individually.
