Profile Retract

Post by olf20 »

Is there a setting in the profile that will allow the Z to
fully retract each pass. We are cutting plastic with our
limited bits and it would be nice to clean the bit sometimes.
Thanks for any help!!

Looks like you are using mach3 for control software, just use the feed hold in mach3 when you need to stop the spindle/router to clean the bit.

Hi: Invest in single flute up spiral bits from 2LInc. Well worth it. They can be run at faster speeds and pull the sworf out of the cut. Norm
